("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), the owner and operator of the TradeLine platform, collects, uses, stores, and discloses information about you when you access or use our platform. By using TradeLine, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Account Information: When your account is created, we collect your full name, email address, company name, phone number, and account type (Seller or Buyer). Accounts are created by invitation only through an authorized administrator.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number, CVV, or other sensitive payment card data on our servers. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS compliance standards. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID to manage your account status.

Product and Inventory Data: Sellers may upload product images, UPC codes, pricing information, quantities, and related product data through the Platform. This data is stored in our database and may be shared with connected Buyers through the Platform's intended functionality.

Messages: Messages sent between users through the Platform's inbox feature are stored in our database to facilitate communication between Sellers and Buyers.

Company Logos: Users may upload company logos, which are stored in our cloud storage infrastructure.

Usage Data: We automatically collect certain technical information when you access the Platform, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and access timestamps. This information is used for security purposes, including rate limiting and bot detection.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the TradeLine platform;
  • Process subscription payments and manage your account;
  • Facilitate communication and transactions between Sellers and Buyers;
  • Generate product reports and PDF documents as requested by Sellers;
  • Send email communications related to reports and platform notifications;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues;
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations;
  • Respond to your inquiries and provide customer support.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Between Users: Seller inventory data, company name, and contact information may be visible to connected Buyers. Buyer company name and contact information may be visible to Sellers who have added them.
  • Service Providers: We use third-party services to operate the Platform, including Supabase (database and authentication), Stripe (payment processing), Anthropic (AI-powered product analysis), and Gmail/Google (email delivery). These providers process data on our behalf and are subject to their own privacy policies.
  • Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of such transaction.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

Your data is stored using Supabase, a cloud-hosted database platform, and protected by industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/SSL), access controls, and authentication protocols. Company logos are stored in Supabase Storage. While we implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Platform's services. Upon account termination or deletion, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes, including fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and enforcement of our agreements. Deleted account data may persist in backups for a reasonable period before being permanently removed.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data.
